Chipsets

• Tux droid’s main CPU is an AVR microcontroller controls the behavior. This microcontroller is reprogrammable, with an easy to access programming socket. A special cable is also included to make low level tweaks and modification possible.

• All communications between the main CPU and the sound and RF (Radio Frequency) modules pass on the I2C bus which is also accessible via an external connector.

• The USB fish dongle (Fux), connected to the computer, handles all RF communication with Tux. The USB interface is divided into 3 devices: the audio in and out device, and a HID device which will transfer all commands to and from Tux.
