Tux droid’s main CPU is an AVR microcontroller controls the behavior. This microcontroller is reprogrammable, with an easy to access programming socket. A special cable is also included to make low level tweaks and modification possible.
All communications between the main CPU and the sound and RF (Radio Frequency) modules pass on the I2C bus which is also accessible via an external connector.
The USB fish dongle (Fux), connected to the computer, handles all RF communication with Tux. The USB interface is divided into 3 devices: the audio in and out device, and a HID device which will transfer all commands to and from Tux.
