Moves & Senses
-
Tux Droid's movements are actuated by three motors. The eyes and beak movements are controlled by one motor, meaning the movements can't be done simultaneously. More details about the robot part here.
-
3 general use push-buttons: 1 on top of the head and 2 switches are integrated in the wing mechanics, making pressure on the wings detectable.
-
1 LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) that can be used to measure the ambient light or detect movement in front of Tux Droid. This sensor is used by the Light Controller gadget.
-
Any I2C sensors can be added through the I2C bus connector (temperature, humidity, pressure, accelerometer, voltage, etc.)
